Tyler’s 1 Year World Cup Soccer Anniversary!

It has been a year ago that The Project Pinball Charity had Tyler VanPelt’s very special dedication of the World Cup Soccer pinball machine at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU)!
This machine has brought many smiles and a whole lot of love for the patients, their families, and the hospital staff.

“It has been a year ago that Tyler’s World Cup Soccer pinball machine arrived and was dedicated to and we admire the commitment and dedication you have for this endeavor. I enjoy watching your travels and placement of other machines as you criss-cross the U.S! I can’t imagine how many miles you’ve traveled this past year! It is still my dream to see another pinball placed in Tyler’s name but I have not yet started down that path.

Knowing we have made Tyler’s goal a reality (and with such a cool game) and hearing of the pleasure it brings the patients on the stem cell transplant floor has comforted us in the hardest journey of our life. Thank you for the work that you do and the heart that you share.” ~ Connie VanPelt

Love Across America Tour 2019 Recap

This past summer, our team traveled by car over 9,000 miles within 46 days from Southwest Florida to Missouri making over 20 stops in 10 different states. Our 5th annual Love Across America Tour was extremely special to us this year because we were able to place over 5 pinball machines in 4 different hospitals across the country. One of the machines placed was at an assisted living facility, which was a first but not a last for us!

We now have a total of 46 pinball machines placed and we aren’t stopping anytime soon. With still two months left until the new year, we have 2-4 pinball machines ready to be placed by the end of December.

Thank you to all of our supporters, friends, and family who without you – none of what we do would be possible. We can’t wait to show you what we have in store for 2020!

Project Pinball Charity in Pittsburgh Post-Gazette

What a WONDERFUL article from the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette
that perfectly depicts Replay FX this year!

“Dozens of booths also lined the floor of the convention center. Project Pinball, a nonprofit based in Florida that donates pinball machines to children’s hospitals, raised more than $1,000 at the festival, said Daniel Spolar, a Dormont native who runs the organization.

He said that pinball provides an escape for young cancer patients — as well as their parents.

“In front of the machine, they forget what they are dealing with”.

45th Pinball Machine Dedication at Wolfson Children’s Hospital

Today is our Final Dedication Day during our 5th Annual Love Across America Tour. As this tour comes to an end we couldn’t think of a better way to end it than with another dedication that is closer to home!

Today we are dedicating a Stern Star Trek Pinball Machine to Wolfson Children’s Hospital! This amazing Star Trek pinball machine was donated by the Jacksonville Arcade Expo (JAX) crew lead by Doug Titus and Steven Moritz.

As a team, they raised the funds needing to make this happen through their fundraising efforts in their community and their JAX show donation. We love to thank everyone that made this possible and put us up to 45 pinball machines placed across our nation!

Project Pinball Dedicates 2 Pinball Machines in Houston

The Project Pinball Team had 2 consecutive days of pinball machine dedications in Houston, TX!

The 1st was Texas Children’s Hospital The Woodlands where we dedicated a Dale Jr. Pinball Machine that was donated to us! We had a great turn out and some of the sweetest little patients getting to use their new pinball machine for the first time!

We love seeing the smiles these pinball machines put on the faces of so many! Huge thank you to the entire staff at Texas Children’s as well as Rusty Key and The Game Preserve for making this dedication possible!

This special Dale Jr. Pinball Machine was donated to Project Pinball Charity by a wonderful supporter in Oklahoma!

Our 2nd consecutive Pinball Machine Dedication in Houston was beyond incredible! The children, families, and even hospital staff were having a ball!

This dedication brings our number of pinball machines placed up to 43 across the United States!

Thank you all for your support, because of this, we are able to put smiles on the faces of so many children and their families during hard times and continue to place pinball machine across the nation! We cannot thank the Houston community enough for making this all a possibility!

Project Pinball Adds Assisted Living Facilities to Nationwide Mission

The Project Pinball Charity is very excited to announce that we have a Brand-New story to tell!

We set out back in 2011 to place as many pinball machines as possible throughout our nation for a therapeutic benefit to anyone who comes in contact with the machines we place.

AND we are doing just that!

Not only are we dealing with Children’s Hospitals, Ronald McDonald Houses, and Adult Care Hospitals

Now we are also adding…

ASSISTED LIVING FACILITIES!

That’s right! We are thrilled to announce that as of tomorrow we will have the first of hopefully many pinball machines dedicated to an Assisted Living Facility!

Project Pinball Honored at Walter Day’s 90th Trading Card Award Ceremonies

The celebration of Walter Aldro Day Jr.’s 70th Birthday took place May 18th, in Banning, California. It was held at the Museum of Pinball. John Weeks, the founder of the museum, brought about two dozen of the most popular and iconic arcade videos and pinballs for the party-goers to play for free.

Walter Day himself held his 90th trading card award ceremony as well, where Project Pinball was honored to receive not our first but SECOND trading card into the hall of fame. Project Pinball was one of the hundreds of new exclusive trading cards that were unveiled at the ceremony. We were so grateful and honored to be in attendance for Walter’s birthday celebration! This card took several months of planning and designing exclusively for our charity.

We are deeply honored to be receiving recognition once again for our charity’s accomplishments!
