We’re bringing the PAPA Circuit to Buffalo! At the Buffalo Pinball Summer Open 2016, players will compete for cash prizes, trophies, points toward the annual PAPA Circuit standings and World Pinball Player Ranking points in this IFPA-endorsed event.
The tournaments are open to all people of all skill levels.

The event will consist of three tournaments: A single, main tournament (qualifying Friday and Saturday, finals Sunday) and two classics tournaments (one Friday, one Saturday)

Preregistration

To preregister for the Buffalo Pinball Summer Open send $5 via PayPal to buffalopinball@gmail.com by July 31 (please send as friends/family).

By preregistering, you’ll get you five complimentary tournament entries and will help us better plan for the proper number of players.

Registration

After July 31, you’ll be able to register at the door but won’t get the complimentary tournament entries.

100% of entry money will go to prize payouts and trophies. Registration/preregistration money is nonrefundable and will go to Buffalo Pinball.

Tournament Format

All tournament qualifying will be in Herb-style, unlimited qualifying format.

There will be 10 games available for the Main Tournament (your top 5 scores count toward your entry) and 6 games for each Classics Tournament (your top 4 scores count toward entry).

Finals will be PAPA style with 4, 2, 1, 0 scoring.

The top 24 players in the main tournament (12 for Classics I and Classics II) will go to playoffs for that tournament, with the top 8 getting byes for the first rounds (top 4 for Classics I and Classics II). Top seed in each group will choose the three machines that will be played in each round for their group. Player order will be chosen for the first game by seeding (player’s choice) while order for the following games will be chosen by finishing position in the previous game played (4th place finisher gets first choice, 3rd place finisher gets second choice, etc.)
